Can Quilter automatically separate analog/digital or noisy/sensitive components?

Quilter automatically separates analog, digital, or sensitive circuits using schematic-defined rooms or manual placement guidance.

Updated this week

Yes—Quilter can automatically separate analog from digital sections, or noisy from sensitive components, using the “rooms” feature defined within your ECAD schematic or through manual placement.

If your schematic includes hierarchical sheets (such as analog, digital, power, RF), Quilter honors those room-based constraints and will soon automatically divide these sections into designated regions. Additionally, you can manually pre-place critical components to guide Quilter in organizing the surrounding components accordingly.

This combined approach provides you with clear control over layout regions, helping to ensure electrical performance and signal integrity without requiring extensive manual work.
