How can I make changes to Quilter-generated layouts?

You can easily modify Quilter-generated designs manually or re-submit them for automated revisions.

Updated this week

There are two main ways to make changes to designs generated by Quilter:

  1. Manual Adjustments:
For small tweaks such as minor trace adjustments or component placements, you can easily modify the generated layout yourself using your existing design tool. All layout candidates can be downloaded in the original file format they were submitted in.

  2. Automated Iteration:
For bigger changes, simply update your schematic or constraints, then re-submit the design to Quilter. It will automatically regenerate a new layout that incorporates your changes. Quilter always respects your manual placements and routing, leaving any user-defined areas intact.

This flexibility lets you quickly iterate and refine your designs with minimal effort.
